Blink-182 back this Summer

Can you say guess who’s back? Blink-182

That’s right.  My prediction was right and by this summer they will presumably be on tour with another headliner. So maybe their hit song “Stay Together for the Kids” rings true with this new announcement. To make our generation’s best punk rock band reunite,  they will have to depart from their newly formed bands, +44 and Angels and Airwaves.  I stated before that Tom Delonge and AVA are planning on recording a possible two different albums during this time. But as for Blink’s Summer 2009 tour there already speculations as who will tour with them. The first rumored group is Green Day. This would be unbelievable since the last time they reunited since 2001’s Pop Disaster Tour in which Jimmy Eat World and Saves the Day opened for our their respected half of the tour.

The other highlighted come back group of 2009 No Doubt is another possible headliner with Blink-182. Both bands have extremely large followings  and could bring two styles of music to unite on stage for an unforgettable summer tour. The band No Doubt has been put on the back burner but they are doing their own tour as well this summer with special guest Paramore starting in three months and are playing at Bamboozle 2009 on May 3rd.  So I cannot wait to checkout that concert. As well as a Summer tour, they are recording their first  album in 6 years.

So I will try to get more information for you guys on tour dates and more speculated tour mates for Blink-182. But check out their MySpace to get new$10 tees and sweatshirts with Blink-182’s new logo. Though it might not look different with a metallic colorring it has 6 arrows instead of the previous 5. Peace
